The reactive dye molecule contains reactive groups, which can be chemically combined with amino groups in protein fibers. Reactive dyes for wool can be used for reaction and steam fixation at high temperatures without the need for alkali agent fixation. Domestic K-type and KN-type Or M type reactive dyes can also be applied. However, it is necessary to choose dyes with similar diffusibility and migration properties to match colors. At the same time, it is necessary to master the saturation value of the dye to avoid excessive dye that affects the brightness and fastness.
 
The choice of printing paste is very important. Sodium alginate, which does not react with the dye, should be used as the paste for reactive dyes. It has good permeability and plasticity to the fiber, and the outline of the printed fine pattern is clear, but its viscosity is large and easy It can be mixed with CMC when necessary to increase the fluidity and permeability of the paste and improve its desizing property.
 
Preparation of the original paste of sodium alginate: 40-45℃ warm water 80%, sodium hexametaphosphate O. 5%-1. O%, sodium alginate 5% to 7%, phenol O. 25%-O. 5%. It needs to be puffed with warm water during preparation, and the gelatinization temperature should not exceed 60°C, otherwise the viscosity will decrease.
 
Reactive dye printing paste prescription. Reactive dye xg, urea 5%-15%, anti-dyeing salt S 0.5%-1. O%, 5%-7% sodium alginate slurry 50%, synthesis 100kg. The addition of urea in the prescription can help the dye to dissolve, increase the stability of the color paste, help the wool puff, and improve the diffusion, fixation and uniform color development of the dye. The weak oxidizer anti-dyeing salt S is added to the printing paste to prevent the reduction of the fiber and the paste during high-temperature steaming and the resulting color fading.
 
Printing process: Wet the woolen fabric, drying, printing, drying, steaming, washing and soaping.
 
Matters needing attention: Before printing, wool fabrics must be fully dried before printing. After printing, they must be dried and steamed in time to avoid wind marks and water marks caused by moisture during the process.
Steaming fixation can generally be carried out in a drum steamer, using a direct steaming method, with large exhaust steam at 102-104°C and low-pressure steaming at 102-104°C for 3-5 minutes. Wash and soap. Because there are many floating colors in reactive dye printing, it is necessary to wash and soap to remove the unfixed dyes and sizing agents on the wool fabric. Increase the vividness of the color and improve the feel of the fabric. Soaping liquid prescription: detergent YS 2-5g/L, soda ash 0.5g/L, bath ratio 1:30, soaping in a rope machine at 60°C for 20 minutes, and then washing with hot water and cold water.

Wool fabrics are prone to deformation and unstable size and shape during processing. Therefore, after the printing is washed, it must be steamed and pre-shrunk and steamed. The SG/2ERO steaming and pre-shrinking machine is used for continuous steaming, or the Arioli steaming machine is used for steaming, or the wool spinning factory's steaming machine can also be used. The wool fabric can obtain a certain degree of "permanent setting" through steaming, so that the woolen fabric has a smooth face, stable dimensions, a thick, plump and elastic feel.
