At present, there are three main methods of controlling static electricity:
1. Ground printing material;
2. Use electrostatic paint or detergent, etc.;
3. Ionize air around electrostatically charged material.

However, in actual operation, it is not realistic to ground material, and use of antistatic coatings and cleaning agents will inevitably increase cost; ionized air also has many inconveniences. To scientifically prevent static electricity, you need to do:

a. Control printing speed of large sublimation printer. Studies have shown that after speed is reduced, electron cloud is in a stable state, electrons will not dissociate, and probability of generating static electricity is lowest.

b. Control room temperature and humidity. Generally speaking, within range of 35%-65% relative humidity, static electricity on printing material is easier to be transferred and removed without affecting ink droplets on printhead, ensuring printing accuracy. It is recommended to open windows regularly in office to ventilate to ensure good ventilation.

c. Do a good job of grounding sublimation fabric printer.

d. Do not use ink with high viscosity. Although weight of ink droplet is too large to reduce influence of static electricity, too much viscosity will bring disadvantages to print head crystal of printer.
