Print head is core component of Fedar DTF printer. If some incorrect operations occur during use, service life of print head will be greatly reduced. After a long period of research, we found that these 7 operating behaviors may damage print head.

1. Disassembly and assembly of DTF printer head without power
Install and remove DTF printer's circuit at will without turning off power switch and cutting off main power supply. This behavior will damage service life of various systems, especially printheads.

2. Leave cleaning fluid in nozzle for more than 48 hours
Soaking nozzle with cleaning fluid for a long time can remove stains more effectively. However, if nozzle is soaked for more than 48 hours, it may cause corrosion to nozzle.

3. Change ink at will without cleaning
Even if it is same type of ink, inks produced by different manufacturers have different components. If you change ink directly without cleaning, it may produce more particles and block print head. Therefore, you must clean print head before changing ink for large DTF printer.

4. Use poor quality ink and cleaning fluid
Poor quality ink will affect printing effect and block nozzle. It is best to use original ink of printer manufacturer.

5. Do not pay attention to protecting circuit board and other internal systems when cleaning
Please turn off power when cleaning, and be careful not to let water hit circuit board and other internal systems.

6. Use external force to adjust position of printhead irregularly
Do not use brute force whether to replace or fine-tune print head. Please treat print head carefully in accordance with specifications.

7. Do not pay attention to electrostatic protection
Large DTF printers are greatly affected by static electricity, so you can't directly touch printheads with your hands. Wear protective gloves when you maintain it. You must also check connection of ground wire frequently.

The above 7 kinds of improper operations will cause damage to DTF printer head, reduce service life of it, and increase cost of use. You must pay attention to operation.
