Fedar sublimation printer does not turn on for a long time, and printing is abnormal. How can we solve this problem? How to maintain Fedar sublimation printer without printing for a long time?
 
When Fedar sublimation printer is not used for a period of time, the following three situations may occur:
 
1. If ink level of external ink cartridge is lower than level of Fedar sublimation printer head, since backflow force of ink from ink delivery line to ink cartridge is greater than the self-flow force of ink to print cartridge, air can enter print cartridge from Fedar sublimation printer head. At this time, there will be tiny bubbles in print cartridge, and these tiny bubbles in ink will cause nozzle missing.
 
2. If Fedar sublimation printer head returns to initial position (rightmost side of Fedar sublimation printer), rubber gasket at edge of ink washing tank below Fedar sublimation printer head leaks, which will also cause surrounding air to have an adverse effect on Fedar sublimation printer head, causing ink to dry and oxidize.
 
3. If Fedar sublimation printer is placed in high temperature, dry, and direct sunlight environment for a long time, it will also cause accelerated volatilization, drying, bacteriaization and oxidation of ink in ink delivery pipeline and Fedar sublimation printer head, which is very thin and transparent. This is especially true for pipelines.
 
Following are effective measures we recommend to avoid above failures, please follow steps in order:
 
1. Before you plan to not use Fedar sublimation printer for a long time, perform a print head check to ensure that printed test line is in good condition. It is best to print about 10 four-color or six-color color patch test charts continuously and ensure normal effect of test charts.
 
2. Press and hold cleaning button on Fedar sublimation printer panel to give a cleaning command. While Fedar sublimation printer is performing cleaning (when car returns to right side of printer and starts to draw ink), unplug Fedar sublimation printer and push printing car to the left. Use a damp cloth soaked in hot water to gently scrub rubber gasket on edge of ink washing tank on the far right side of Fedar sublimation printer, which helps gasket to maintain a clean seal and restore elasticity, and then drip cleaning guard into ink tank. In the sponge (until the drip is full), then manually push car back to far right side of Fedar sublimation printer.
 
3. Observe maximum height of ink level of each color of external ink cartridge, and raise external ink cartridge to keep this height consistent with level of Fedar sublimation printer head. Remember not to exceed level of Fedar sublimation printer head. You can pad books to maintain this height.
 
4. Finally, please keep Fedar sublimation printer and continuous ink supply system in a cool and dark environment.
