For
digital printing, there are still many principles that cannot be mastered in half a month and a month. If you want to become an engineer in the digital printing industry, you also need to understand a lot of mechanics, mechanics and chromatics. The problems in the printing process will be solved quickly. Friends in the printing industry know that the color of the pattern is the biggest explanation of the company to the customer. Today, I will share with you the color mode of the digital printing pattern.
Generally, the actual effect of textile printing is quite different from the effect displayed on the computer screen. This is not only related to the fabric and ink used, but also an important reason for the different color modes used by the monitor and the inkjet printer.
In color science, the color representation method is called color model or color model. The color model is used to describe the colors seen and processed by the human eye. Use numerical values to represent Xeno. Different color modes have different methods of describing and classifying colors.
The color range generated by a specific color mode is called the color space. The color model determines the relationship between values, and the color space defines the absolute meaning of these values as colors. Some color modes have a fixed color space (such as L*a*b* and XYZ), which are directly related to the way the human eye perceives colors, so they can be regarded as device-independent; while other color modes (such as RGB, HSL) , HSB, CMYK, etc.) may have many different color spaces, which are different for each related color space or device, so they are regarded as device-related.
CMYK color mode:
CMYK (color mode is also known as CMYK color space, which is an application color space. C in "CMYK" is cyan; M is magenta; Y is yellow; to avoid confusion with blue. Here black is K instead of monitor ( B1ack) said. Since C, M, Y, and K are mixed into color, as the four components of C, M, Y, and K increase, the light reflected to the human eye will become less and less, and the brightness of the light will increase. The lower the value, so the method of CMYK mode to produce colors is called subtractive color mixing mode, which follows the subtractive color mixing law. It is based on the light absorption characteristics of the ink printed on the substrate. When white light is irradiated on the ink, a certain Some visible light wavelengths are absorbed (subtracted), while other wavelengths are reflected back to the eyes to produce colors. The value range of the CMYK color mode is 0-100%: when C, M, Y, and K are 0, it appears white ; When each is 100%, the performance is black.
Theoretically, by mixing cyan ink C, magenta ink M, and yellow ink Y in different proportions, all colors can be reproduced. Combine 100% cyan ink C, 100% magenta ink M, and 100% yellow ink Y. Mixing can produce black. However, because the jet printing ink is not an ideal ink, that is to say, for the ideal yellow ink, the visible light of 500-700nm should be completely reflected, and the visible light of 400-500nm should be completely absorbed, but the actual yellow ink used is not like this. It is in the range of 500-700nm. The reflection at 700nm is insufficient, and the absorption at 400-500nm is also insufficient. This is because the yellow ink presents a small amount of magenta and cyan components when it develops. Other inks also have the same problem. When printing, if black ink is not used, a mixture of 100% cyan ink C, 100% magenta ink M, and 100% yellow ink Y will result in a brown color, which does not show true black. Therefore, in order to ensure that the dark and gray colors are not cast, in addition to the pure cyan, magenta and yellow inks, black ink is also used in the four-color printing. This creates the CMYK color space.
When converting an image in RGB color mode to CMYK color mode, color separation will occur. If the image material used is RGB color mode, it is best to convert to CMYK color mode after editing.
When making printing or printing images, use the CMYK color mode. The image of CMYK color mode contains four channels of C, M, Y, and K, which is similar to the quarter color in printing. The pictures of these four channels can be combined to form a complete color picture.
The color of the CMYK color mode is recorded in a computer with 32-bit bytes, which is what we often call 32-bit true color. Like the RGB color mode, it can directly adjust the value of each channel to obtain accurate colors. CMYK also has a three-dimensional color mode similar to RGB-CMYK three-dimensional color mode.
The CMYK color mode is mainly used for colors expressed by colorants, pigments and dyes, such as printing dyeing and printing.
